“I never imagined a country would have an organization like MAM that would help someone like me.”

Katerina is a proud, hardworking Polish immigrant, supporting herself and her son as a housekeeper. The homes she regularly cares for were directly in the path of flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. Her clients lost their homes and she no longer has work.

MAM welcomed her with open arms and helped her with rent. Katerina is now enrolled in the Employment Services program to find new opportunities.
