We are pleased to announce Memorial Assistance Ministries has received a grant from Bank of America that will advance economic mobility for individuals and families in Houston and put them on a path toward success. Bank of America’s Economic Mobility Grants focus on needs related to workforce development and education that help individuals chart a path to better economic futures, as well as basic needs fundamental to building lifelong stability.
MAM will use the funding to support for struggling families on the financial edge who have experienced an unforeseen expense, throwing them into economic crisis. Through a network of programs and services, MAM helps bring stability by moving families towards financial steadiness and self-sufficiency.
Partnerships are critical to advancing solutions to some of the complex challenges we face as a community. With support from Bank of America, we help lay a foundation for individuals and families who are struggling, and continue to grow our impact in the Houston community.
By partnering with organizations like ours, Bank of America is truly a part of the solution to pressing social issues affecting the most vulnerable in our communities. This year, they’ve invested $1.15 million in the Houston area to help individuals and families chart a more successful future. This funding is part of more than $40 million in grants they provided across the country to advance economic mobility through access to skills, jobs and basic needs.
