April 30, 2020 - We can’t thank you all enough for the words of encouragement and love sent our way during this pandemic. When our assistance and most of our education programs moved to providing services remotely, the Resale Store closed. You have let us know that we are big part of this community, in many ways. Shoppers, volunteers and neighbors began sending donations to MAM, including wonderful little notes about how much they missed MAM. One woman sent a gift to MAM and said, "I know you do good work in the community, and I don’t want you to close. I’ve visited your shop many times … I’m trying to support the community anyway I can as we all try to cope with the mess this corona is causing.” The most important consideration for our reopening has been to ensure we are maintaining a safe environment for everyone – our clients, customers, donors, staff and volunteers. MAM will be implementing safety measures to ensure we can welcome the community back to MAM as we phase in our reopening. We will continue to make adjustments based upon future guidance from government authorities and any direct impacts to our staff and community.
