Sterile Processing Technician


This Sterile Processing Technician course equips students with the foundational knowledge and skills needed for a career in healthcare settings like hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers. The course covers key topics such as sterilization techniques, infection control, instrument handling, and regulatory standards, preparing students for important roles in maintaining sterile and safe healthcare environments.

Eligibility Criteria:

· Must have High School Diploma or GED.

· Must be authorized to work in the US.

· Must speak, read, and write English fluently.

· Valid Driver’s License or State-issued ID and SS card.

· No criminal background.

· Must be tobacco-free. Zero Tolerance Policy.

· Motivation to complete the class and take the national sterile processing Exam.

Date: If the applicant is selected, they are invited for the mandatory course introduction through Zoom on February 11th at 3:00pm. Training begins on February 18th and ends on May 22nd.

Class timing: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00pm-9:00pm.
Location: Classes online and in-person at 14300 Cornerstone Village Dr, Suite 226 - Houston, TX 77014, EUA

FREE Electrocardiography (EKG) Interpretation 

Electrocardiography (EKG) Interpretation is the process of analyzing and understanding the results of an electrocardiogram. This training is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. You will learn the necessary skills to process and analyze the results of an electrocardiogram, contributing to the diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions. This training is best suited for those interested in working on a computer throughout the day.​

Eligibility Criteria:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Intermediate computer skills 
• No criminal background & work authorized in the US
• Motivation and commitment to complete the class
• Must be a client of MAM, as indicated by completing the intake form and attending one daily orientation.

Date: February 20th - March 22nd, 2025 | Final exam the following week
Duration: 4 weeks
Class Timing: Thursdays, 6 pm to 10 pm | Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm
Location: Virtual via Zoom
