FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training

In collaboration with the Academy of Exceptional Healthcare, MAM presents a 5-week vocational program designed to equip individuals with the essential skills and knowledge to become Certified Nursing Assistants.

 

This entry-level course effectively prepares students to play a vital role in the healthcare industry by assisting nurses and other professionals in delivering fundamental patient care.

 

Participants will learn:

  • How to take vital signs

  • How to feed patients

  • Range of motion exercises

  • How to provide incontinence care

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED 

  • Must speak, read, and write English fluently

  • Must be 18 years or older and must successfully pass a state criminal background check

  • Valid Driver’s License or State-issued ID and SS card 

  • Must be authorized to work in the US 

  • Motivation and commitment to complete the class and take the State Exam

Dates: April 21-May 23, 2025 | Mandatory Course Introduction April 17th
Duration: 5 weeks
Class Timing: Mon-Thurs 8:00am-1:00pm. 
Location: Hybrid - schedule alternates between online sessions and in-person, hand-on skills training

​​FREE Sterile Processing Technician Training

As a sterile processing technician, you play a critical role in ensuring the proper sterilization of operating rooms, exam rooms, and equipment for healthcare teams. Your work is essential to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for medical procedures and patient care.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

  • Must speak, read, and write English fluently.

  • Valid Driver’s License or State-issued ID and SS card.

  • Must be tobacco-free. 

  • No criminal background.

  • Motivation and commitment to complete the class and take the National Sterile Processing Exam. 

Dates: April 25-July 25, 2025 | Mandatory Course Introduction April 14
Duration: 11 weeks
Class Timing: Fridays and Saturdays 9am-1pm 
Location: Hybrid - schedule alternates between online sessions and in-person, hand-on skills training

FREE Electrocardiography (EKG) Interpretation 

Electrocardiography (EKG) Interpretation is the process of analyzing and understanding the results of an electrocardiogram. This training is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. You will learn the necessary skills to process and analyze the results of an electrocardiogram, contributing to the diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions. This training is best suited for those interested in working on a computer throughout the day.​

Eligibility Criteria:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Intermediate computer skills 
• No criminal background & work authorized in the US
• Motivation and commitment to complete the class
• Must be a client of MAM, as indicated by completing the intake form and attending one daily orientation.

Date: May 1-May 31, 2025 | Final exam the following week
Duration: 4 weeks
Class Timing: Thursdays, 6 pm to 10 pm | Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm
Location: Virtual via Zoom
